"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Welcome to the ~Alter-Ego-Club! This organisation is not like roleplay where you make up a character and pretend to be them. This is a place for people to bring out the alter-ego inside them and meet other deviants.
Also, please take the time to read the journals. I spend alot of time writing them.
What is this club for:
Brand new to DA and ready to start! An alter-ego is described as a second version of yourself. The way you would like to be seen. Perhaps braver, stronger, smarter, taller or prettier than what you already are.
The point of this club is not to be someone else, but to be the other version of yourself.
So how do you join:
Easy. 4 simple steps.
1] Send a note titled 'Join'.
2] Wait for a reply then watch the club. (You don't need a certain skill level to get in, this club is for everyone)
3] Draw at least 1 picture of your alter-ego to be displayed in the club. (You will have as much time as necessary)
4] Join in and have fun.
What about submitting:
Send a note titled 'Submit' to the club. This note should inclued a link to your picture. As soon as we get the note we will submit the picture in this club.
In artists comments it will always have a link to the original piece so people can post their comments/fav it there.
What do we submit:
Anything! But the first thing we would like to submit for you is your alter-ego. We ask that first because, this being a club for alter-ego's, we find that pretty important.
We will submit for you anything from pictures of your alter-ego to pictures of other peoples alter-ego's to whatever you've been working on.
Remember, this club isn't just as the name says. It's also a place to be seen and have your art seen.
Contests:
Season's greetings. This will be the clubs first Contest.
The theme of the contest is Christmas. Here at ~Alter-Ego-Club we would like to see a picture of how you interperate Christmas.
To join, just send a note titled 'Contest Entry' and a link to your picture to the club. Contest will end when 2-4 of our members enter. If the contest doesn't have the support that it needs, (not that there is much support) the contest will become default.
Prizes will include:
~a feature in the journal
~the picture that wins will be featured deviation
The winner is not always the best drawer. Points go out to creativity. Photo submissions are not frowned upon but they still will need alot of creativity.
Hello. This is just a quick note to say that, even though I have said you may have as long as you need to draw your alter-ego, it would be kind of people to draw them before the new year. ~Alter-Ego-Club only has 2 deviations and more would be needed to be counted as a real club.
I would also like to ask all of our members to put down the bottom of their journals the club icon. This isn't much to ask and I hope you all agree to it.
